How To Be Saved

According to the Canon of Scripture, the word of God in Romans 10:9, the Holy Spirit said through the Apostle Paul, “that if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” A long time ago approximately two thousand plus years ago A Roman jailer asked of the Apostle Paul the greatest question that could be asked by any human being, “what must I do to be Saved?” and Paul’s answer to him was immediate and he replied “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house” (Acts 16:30-31) The Holy Spirit also says through the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:8-9 “for by Grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the Gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.” Paul said in Galatians 6:14 “But God forbid that I should Glory (boast), save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom the world is Crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Whenever the thief hung on the Cross next to the Lamb of God, he made a profound statement, “He said Lord, remember me”. And Jesus turned toward the penitent thief and replied, “This day shall you be with me in Paradise.” He did not have to perform any type of work, all he had to do was believe, and he was saved. How was he saved? By evidencing faith in Christ, in who he was and what he came to do, it’s just that simple. Jesus said in the Gospel of John 10:9 “I am the Door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and go in and out, and find pasture. Jesus also said in the Gospel of John 14:6 “I am the way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the father, but by me. The only requirement for one to be saved is that one must evidence faith in Christ and in Christ alone and what He has done at the Cross, “without faith it is impossible to please God,” (Faith in the Cross of Christ Hebrews 11:16) According to Romans 3:23 “All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.” The Holy Spirit said through Paul in Romans 5:12. “Wherefore, as by one man (the First Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” But John the Baptist in introducing Christ uttered the words “Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29) Romans 6:23 reads “the wages of sin in death but the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So one is saved by simple faith in Christ and what He has done at the Cross of Golgotha Hill.

Sinners Prayer

The sinners prayer is a prayer I/we believe is inspired and orchestrated by the Holy Spirit,we must not take for granted that one knows what to say or how to personally approach or come to God for their salvation,to be frank most do not know the first or the slightest thing say being scripturally ignorant,in essence they do not have any knowledge of the word of God,so it is our responsibility as ministers of the gospel and believers in general to lead them by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit unto the Lord, for how can they know except there be someone to guide them,Acts 8:30-31, God's way is simple,He doesn't demand much of us,all He demands is that we believe,He gives us the easy part,so if a person wants to be saved,no matter who you may be,it's just as simple as praying this prayer, but we must understand, words can not save one,for words have never saved anyone, one must believe in what is said as it is in coherence to the word of God,"For faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word of God" Romans 10:17,so I ask of anyone who desires to be saved and make Jesus Christ the Lord of their life and the Saviour of their soul to repeat this prayer after this evangelist,"Dear God in Heaven,I come to you in the name of Jesus, thanking you for this second chance and opportunity that you have given unto me to be saved and live for you and with you, forgive me for the wrong that I have done, for the way that I have lived contrary to your will, which is a life of sin, wash me in the precious blood of the Lamb of God and make me whiter than snow, for a broken spirit,a broken and contrite heart you will not despise, create within me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me,I believe that Jesus died on calvary's cross for my sins and my salvation, and that on the third day he rose from the dead by the power of God for my justification, and right now I make Jesus Christ the Lord of my life and the Saviour of my soul, and according to your word that can not lie Romans 10:13 I am now saved, born again, set free and delivered and my name has been written down in the Lamb's Book of Life, I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new, thank you for saving my soul,in Jesus name,I am saved and redeemed "Amen",if you have prayed this prayer with sincerity and only God knows your heart, you are now saved and no longer hell bound but heaven ready, welcome unto the family of God and into the kingdom of God where your heritage is now among those that are santified,We love you and are praying for you perpetually and without ceasing, now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling,to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Jude 1:24
